Congress will consider groundbreaking legislation to give Medicare provider status for pharmacists.

This recognition is a critical missing link that is preventing pharmacists from getting paid for all the counseling, educational services, monitoring, etc that deserve payment.

Many pharmacy groups are spearheading efforts to pass this bill, including the Amer Soc of Health-System Pharm (ASHP)...the Amer College of Clinical Pharm (ACCP)...and Amer Pharmaceutical Assoc (APhA).
